I really don’t like talking about my husbands injuries, or the experiences our family has went through because of my husbands injuries, but – It’s not about me. It’s actually about you. Yes, you are on our website for one reason or another. Maybe you are a veteran looking for someone who understands. Maybe you are a family member or friend who is wondering what the heck TBI or PTSD is.
Maybe you are the mother or the father of someone who was killed in war, or maybe your veteran loved one committed suicide. I don’t know what brings you here, and I won’t know – unless you share your story with me.
Sharing my story allows me to meet others who I have something in common with. This is not only therapeutic for me, but hopefully for those I talk to as well. Knowing I’m not alone helps, and it will help you too. We are in this together.
Please take a moment to share your story, letting others know – they are not alone. Odds are, if you have a story to share – someone else out there in this big world has went through some of the same things you have faced.
Take time to send a video in (under 10 minutes in length), an audio recording or an article… as VOW Talk Radio Hostess, Beth Pennington says, “Share your story… save a life.” Voice of Warriors does not profit off of your stories. We are simply giving you the space and the means to share your story. Voice of Warriors, we VOW to make a difference… do you?
